Hi, I’m Jodie – a passionate second-generation retirement living professional with over 25 years’ experience in both frontline and executive roles across the retirement sector.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with new and established retirement communities across metropolitan and regional Australia, and consulted internationally in Malaysia and New Zealand. My previous roles include Business Manager at Village Care, where I was responsible for the wellbeing of over 6,000 residents and 160 staff, and oversight of sales and marketing programs across 50+ villages.
I specialise in setting retirement communities up for success – from service model design, resident engagement, and staff training, to compliance, operational reviews and process improvement. My strength lies in building practical frameworks that deliver resident satisfaction and business results.
As National Sales & Operations Executive, I currently guide operators on long-term strategy and success. I am particularly passionate about innovation in our sector – especially people-focused solutions. This has included leading the foundational development of Centrim Life’s operational software platform, and serving as Director of Leadership and Learning at the DCM Institute, where I developed and facilitated the industry’s leading professional development program.
I’ve proudly delivered specialist sales training to more than 1,600 village professionals across Australia, New Zealand, and Malaysia, and regularly speak at industry events hosted by peak bodies.
With a degree in Social Sciences (Community Development), I bring a resident-first mindset to every project. With a true love of property I am also a real estate agent with a love of property, sales, and community interaction.
I’m a natural people person and collaborative leader, with a deep drive to create customer-centric, sustainable solutions that help communities and teams thrive.
Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors – especially the ocean – and love volunteering in the small regional community I share with my husband and son.
