Hi! My name is Jodie Symonds and I am the creator of this page. I am 18 years of age and am a recent graduate of secondary college. I was awarded college captain and ended the year with outstanding results. I am now studying a Bachelor of Journalism at La Trobe University and I'm hoping to become a well known and respected journalist in the future. My interests include politics, media and writing (with a hint of the latest fashion and gossip). I am also a part time gymnastics coach in Melbourne, Australia. I can be very humorous at times (I like to think so) and am very outgoing, passionate and active toward my studies.

Now, what made me think of a Dj-ing blog? I have always had an interest in music. How it can move a person, what different genres and artists are around currently as well as previous years. However, recently turning 18 I have been taken to various nightclubs by my friends which featured numerous Djs that brought me to wonder why they chose that career? Much to the question of why I chose journalism? What is their drive?
