I'm a misplaced Texan living in Nebraska who cannot wait to move to Hawaii. My current mantra...."In 16 months or less, I'm a Hawaiian!" I am a loyal and generous woman and friend. I have a tight circle of close friends. A large part of my happiness comes from my delight in my relationships with others. Ultimately, it is my connection with the people in my life that helps me connect to the happiness that lies within me. I appreciate my friends and family and what they bring to my life - it allows me to find joy in each and every moment of my day. I admire people who, in this world of "me, me, me" and "everything's disposable," actually think of others' feelings before taking action, and treat people with kindness and love. I am drawn to people who get joy from their relationships and friendships with others, not just from "acquiring stuff" and collecting notches on their bedposts.
