As Gannett's Director of Social Media and Engagement, I work with Gannett's 100+ local markets and help train, champion, support and manage social and engagement efforts and staffers across the U.S.

I've been with Gannett since 2000 and transitioned to social media in 2008, although I had been experimenting with social networks since 2003.

I find my degree in Sociology is a perfect fit for my current role as I am equally intrigued by the behaviors in social media as I am the technologies.
