Jody has been working in education for 17 years and is the Upper School Director at Gideon Hausner Jewish Day School in Palo Alto. CA. She is an adjunct instructor for Mt. St. Mary's University and the DeLeT program at Hebrew Union College. Her writing has appeared Scientific American and Education Week and was a founding blogger for MiddleWeb's Future of History with collaborator Shara Peters. Her book is called “History Class Revisited: Tools and Projects to Engage Middle School Students in Social Studies."
