I am currently a Linked Data Specialist for BBC News Future Media. I work closely with journalists to add linked data to BBC News content, used to power new user experiences for news consumption.

Assistant Editor for 'Hip Hop Hijabis', a Faction Films production for Aljazeera English (Sep 2013-Nov 2013), preparing rushes for post-production, converting, syncing, formatting transcriptions, trouble-shooting technical problems and making selects for the rough cut. Working closely with the Editor and Director.
News Presenter for Academy FM Folkestone (October 2012-present), writing and reporting local news for one of Folkestone's main radio stations. Recording and editing packages and features, as well as presenting the news both live and pre-recorded.
Intern Writer for Answers from Big Issue (September 2012-present), writing, subediting and creating multimedia content for The Big Issue's new pioneering digital magazine Answers From Big Issue.
