In the past I have been an advisor to PAHO, IntraHealth, the Institute of Medicine. Former Director of Thought Leadership, Policy and Advocacy at the mHealth Alliance, Washington, DC. I have over 20 years of experience in global health working on technology and innovation strategy. I have a series of articles on mHealth/mFinance, data flows in health systems, mHealth futures, the Internet of Things and Health and Big Data in Healthcare. DrPH from the University of California, Berkeley, an MA in International Relations and Economics from Johns Hopkins University, SAIS, and a BA in Biology from Ithaca College. I have worked in Bangladesh, Rwanda, Zambia, and Ethiopia and have appeared in many global media services commenting on global health, mHealth and the Arab Spring.
