Joe Bechely

By day: technology evangelist, sports marketing, incentives, events, et al.
By night: helping people put their toe in the web.

My experience is in my résumé; here are some of my goals:

I want to love to go to work - every single day. I want to read more, and watch less. I want to learn something new every day and teach those around me. I want to have fun working with others and sharing ideas. I want happy customers. I want to be the go-to guy when people are looking to buy, use or implement new technology. I want to switch to Mac, but I keep finding reasons not to. I want to be respected and admired by both customers and children. I want to speak at TED. I want to find the ultimate GTD system. I WANT INBOX ZERO! I want to start world peace, to end world hunger and erase hate. I want to save more. I want to learn to speak Mandarin Chinese. I want to plant a garden…and harvest it. I want to learn how to fly. And how to land. I want to be happy. I want to lead others, and I want them to want to follow.

Some Highlights: tech-savvy, creative, hard-working, funny, highly proficient in Microsoft Office, fluent in American Sign Language, I can build a website, and I love some Web 2.0.

Other Interests: brands – those in the marketplace (not on cow’s bums), lifehacking, home canning, Doctor Who, grammar, A/B testing in email marketing, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Kickstarter, politics (that’s all I’ll say about that), Android, mid-century modern design and architecture, the Internet of Things, data (they never lie), gadgets, The Wall Street Journal, DIY, puns, portmanteaus and people.
