Hello,

I am Joe Degimedia. I am currently working on my 59th album, "Elephant Legend".

You've probably seen, or at least heard of my band Planet 22. Expert Musicians from Pennsylvania, Planet 22 has toured everywhere from Maine to Tijuana, and jammed with everyone from Dr. Didj to Jeff Raines & Stanton Moore of Galactic. You'll find our four studio albums here, along with great live shows.

When I record other musical genres I use different psuedonyms to help give the material its own identity. For heavy metal I pretend to be the four piece band, "The Demons of the Abyss." When recording Hip - Hop I pretend to be a duo, rapper - Old Mad Dragon and DJ - D.J. Yip. I also use the D.J. Yip Moniker for my rave, techno, ambient, and tape scratching electronic music. "Pat Panang" is an imaginary alien guitar player that I've made several albums with. The "Gingerbread Monkeys" were my old four piece imaginary band from the 1900's. If the album cannot be clearly defined I usualy just name the album without an artist or attribute Joe Degimedia.

I play many instruments and record music in many styles. I am so happy you found this site. My biggest problem is deciding which genres of music to pursue. Please let me know what you think... should I go for hip-hop, metal, bluegrass, techno, or something else.
