Personal:
Hometown of Greenfield Indiana. Graduated from Greenfield-Central (1996) and Purdue University (2002). I teach at a small school here near my hometown (Eastern Hancock). I am married to Chrissy since June 7th, 2008. We have two children Gavin Joseph who was born on May 26, 2010 and Kaylee Marie who was born on February 25, 2015.
Basketball Coaching Bio:
This is Coach Paxton's 12th season of coaching basketball at Eastern Hancock (16th season overall) and his 7th season as the freshman/C team boys basketball coach. His boys basketball C-teams have won 2 Lutheran Invitational Championships (2011-12, 2012-13), 1 Hancock County Championship (2011-12), and 1 Eastern Hancock Invitational Championship (2011-12). His Junior Varsity Girls basketball team won the Blue River Holiday Tournament (2002-03). In 2005-06, Coach Paxton was named White River Athletic Conference "Coach of the Year" for Girls Varsity Basketball.

Teaching Bio:
This is Mr. Paxton's 13th year of teaching at Eastern Hancock (2015-16). He has taught Pitsco Synergistic curriculum consisting of a module curriculum. He has also taught Project Lead the Way Gateway to Technology Curriculum. Mr. Paxton has also taught middle school health, middle school physical education, 6th grade computers, as well as 6th and 8th grade exploratory.
