Joseph Penland
Architect in Dallas, TX
Hi, I’m Joseph. I’m 43, based in Dallas, and somehow still single, despite owning tools, reading books without pictures, and knowing how to cook more than one thing.
By trade, I’m a technical architect. By passion, I restore old homes, collect vintage furniture and hi-fi gear, and ride anything with two wheels — road bike, scooter or motorcycle. Former athlete, avid cyclist, and always game for a rooftop drink or a questionable idea that turns into a great story.
Never married, no kids, not because I’ve avoided life, but because I’ve been intentional about who I build it with. I like my relationships how I like my record collection: rare, meaningful, and worth keeping around.
I’m drawn to people who are emotionally grown, sharp-witted, a little chaotic in a good way, and who know what it means to show up, for themselves and for others. Bonus points if you laugh at my jokes and have a playlist for the drive.
Looking for a partner who gets that love isn’t about fairy tales, it’s about presence, humor, shared values, and the willingness to figure things out together.

Say hi. Send a meme. Or just prove to me the best wine bar in Dallas actually exists.
