Joe Strom

Well, obviously my name is Joe, I reside in Saint Paul. I have been living here for 27 years, with a few years lieu while attending college down in Mankato, MN. I started working with computer graphics and web design when I was 15 years old. Grant it, they were nothing compared to what I can do now. Programs have also evolved since then too.

I started graphic design using Jasc Paint Shop Pro, and did pretty well with that program, it was a very simple easy to use program for someone as new to graphics as me. Soon after that I got my hands on Photoshop 7, and haven't looked back since. I used Photoshop 7 for years, before upgrading to CS4, and soon after, CS5. In the past two years or so I have begun using other programs as well which make the process a little easier, such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, and others.

Soon after starting to create graphics, I started looking into making my own websites as well. Just like with graphics, I was teaching myself and learning it all as I went, with real basic websites and moving up from there. Now, twelve years later, I consider myself quite advanced in HTML and CSS, and pursuing knowledge in PHP and ASP. I have also dabbled into Javascript as well, and took C++ Programming in high school, and plan to take it again in college.
