StartFragmentAs an accomplished Higher Education Administrator who's passion is to help students succeed, I would like to propose my program titled "Walking on Both Sides of the Street.. the Road to Success".. This 45 minute presentation is an autobiography that focuses on my life having grown up moving from one foster home to another as a youth, I often walked on the wrong side of the street in search of any form of friendship or attention I could find. I lacked personal guidance, integrity, spirituality, and the luxury of a consistent family. Growing up on the streets, I did not realize the decisions I was making as a youth would come back to haunt me later on down the road as an adult. Thanks to someone who believed in me more than I believed in myself, I was encouraged to consider walking down a path I never imagined...College! Although I feared I would fail, I was excited to have the opportunity to better my life and continue to play football, so I took the risk and submitted an application. To my surprise, I received a football scholarship and was accepted into the ACT 101 program. Throughout my educational journey, I successfully completed a bachelors degree, and built enough confidence to complete a masters degree in education, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Higher Education Administration.
