Hello world. My name is Joe Butler, I am 20 years old, and I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Accounting and Hospitality and Tourism Managment at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts. That's a mouthful.

I recently returned from a semester abroad in Syndey, Australia. This was an incredible experience from which I've gained invaluable knowledge. I had never left the country before this excursion, and I have had very little traveling experience in general. Australia has heightened my desire for adventure. Much like most people who have studied abroad, I have now caught the travel bug. I have found that everything I do, in school or otherwise, is geared towards bettering my chances of being able to travel. I love Massachusetts, but it's time for me to leave the nest. In the words of the great Mark Wahlberg, "I'm a peacock, you gotta let me fly!"
