In his capacity as a Senior Vice President, Mr. Arancio launched and grew the company’s digital distribution department, building the operation to more than $100 million. His core focus has been in the monetization of the studio's film library through cutting-edge technology solutions. This includes overseeing the development of media platforms, deploying new technology, and negotiating distribution deals. Joe Arancio also facilitated the launch of several first-to-market products in digital distribution, oversaw the operations team, and supervised the efforts of international sales teams. With global management and distribution experience, Joe Arancio has capitalized on the latest movements in the market to help provide Sony Pictures with a robust distribution platform. In 2010, Joe Arancio brought his talents to Big Air Studios, a relatively new film production and distribution company based in Santa Monica, California. Demonstrating his skill in handling both traditional and digital entertainment avenues, Joe Arancio will run distribution for the company.
