Joe Horn

Originally from Needham, MA, I have spent the last two plus years calling the University of Massachusetts Amherst my home, where I study Finance in the Isenberg School of Management.

I have developed an enthusiasm for travel over the last few years. I have been to both Mexico and Canada, as well as Tanzania and Ireland, with plans on spending Spring 2014 studying at the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona.

These adventures have also allowed me to develop a unique skill set that resonates outside the classroom. I have learned how to effectively work in teams; how to lead, and when necessary, to follow. The ability to adapt and be an efficient communicator seem to be my some of my best attributes, as well as a jovial disposition.

I have worked various roles in the past which run from Sports Counsellor at the YMCA, to assistant to the HR Department at Maloney Properties, Inc., and to service technician at ARS Services. At each position I have gained valuable experience in management and operations which I am attempting to incorporate with my Finance studies and other business academia.
