I’m Joe Blackman, a British entrepreneur, global event planner and international business specialist based in Texas. I’ve spent more than two decades building businesses, creating events and experiences around the world, and connecting people and opportunities across industries and borders.

I started my first business in my early twenties and went on to build an international events company, working with entrepreneurs, global brands, entertainers, professional sportspeople, diplomats and royal families. My work expanded into business advisory, international trade and citizen diplomacy, with a particular focus on relationships between the UK, United States and Middle East.

In 2022, I was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to the economy and charity by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. I moved to the United States in 2020 and now call Texas home, although my work and interests remain decidedly international.

Outside business, I’m passionate about travel, history, design, food and discovering different cultures. I’ve travelled to more than 70 countries and still believe some of the best opportunities — in business and in life — begin simply by bringing the right people together.
