JB started his professional career at Creators Way Associated Labels (CWAL) in 1998 as a assistant engineer / production assistant / chief intern for the Grammy nominated producer The Legendary Traxster.(Po Pimp-Do Or Die, Adrenaline Rush-Twista) During his years at CWAL, JB started crafting hits and fine tuned his already sonic ears to perfecting the perfect song. After experiencing the gold and platinum success of the company and being inside the structured surroundings of CWAL, JB decided to focus more on the sideline talent that had been around him cultivating for years and took a step out on his own. Joe Blacula brings his vast knowledge of his teenage years of DJing, the culture of Hip Hop, and his love of all music to the table, and it can be clearly heard in his unique, full bodied production.
