Joe Circelli

What’s up, I’m Joe. I’m a Football Coach and Occasional teacher living in London, Ontario, Canada. Currently, I am serving as Recruiting Coordinator and Defensive Line Coach at my alma mater Western University. I also am still active as an Occasional Teacher with the London District Catholic School board. To me coaching and teaching is synonymous, and I find my experiences on the field transition very well into the classroom. I am always trying to learn and continue to develop as an educator and as a coach. I am a former varsity athlete and team captain at Western University where I played football for the Mustangs. I was a member of the Toronto Argonauts for two seasons and it was an amazing experience and one that I will cherish for a lifetime. I am a fan of all sports, and love playing and being involved with mentoring and coaching. My love of coaching comes from my father who showed me the parallels of sport to life and how it can be used as a vehicle to develop great citizens from the young men and women who become involved. I’m also an avid cook, and love to experiment in the kitchen creating my own recipes. Even though I am a couple year retired from football, I still love to exercise with friends or my beautiful wife Karissa. I am lucky to have her as such an amazing partner, she is my rock. I am an incredibly driven person and live by the mantra "good things will happen when you work hard". I pride my self on being determined, enthusiastic, and a person who is in relentless pursuit of goals.
