Joe Elek is a Student at Ohio State University with ambitions to become a music teacher for elementary school children.

Throughout his entire life, Joe Elek has always held a strong passion for music, particularly rock and roll. He remembers listening to some of rock and rolls greatest with his dad and grandfather when he was just a young boy. Since then, Joe Elek has grown his passion for music reading about many legendary artists and learning to play guitar himself. Some of his favorite books related to rock and roll music include Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run and The History of Rock and Roll by Ed Ward. For Joe Elek it is simply fascinating to learn about the lives of rock artists to how their experiences have impacted their music. An English Major at Ohio State, Joe Elek spends a lot of time researching and learning about Music and when he is not studying, he is reading about, writing about or playing music. Joe says that although he would love to be a famous musician, he also aspires to be a music teacher, he hopes to inspire young individuals to find their voice and tell their story in their own unique way.

Along with his passions and goals for developing a successful career in music and education, Joe Elek is also passionate about cars. As a kid he would always be out in the garage helping his dad or grandfather fix up or touch up their old cars. Every year, especially during the summer time, Joe Elek and his family will spend a few weekends traveling to a variety of car shows in the local area. At the car shows, Joe Elek loves talking with and meeting other car lovers and seeing new and unique car designs and models. Some of his favorite car models come from the Honda Motor Company.
