Joe Hanko

I'm a student at the Martin J. Whitman School of Management and I'm working on my degree in Entrepreneurship. I'm building a career for myself in Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability / Renewables.

I'm a strong believer in living sustainably - which is less of a challenge than you might think!

Along with other SIFE Students (@SUSIFE), I manage a project called DOT on the Syracuse University campus. DOT stands for "Do One Thing" and is an initiative that calls for students to do one simple thing that is sustainable (either socially, economically, or environmentally).

I've interned at one of the most sucessful little companies in America, TerraCycle Inc. (@terracycle). As a Business Managmeent and Brand Development intern, I had the opportunity to learn all about TerraCycle's most important functions.

While I'm still experimenting and looking for career paths (and ways to pave my own), I'm dabbling in social media, thanks to my very "well-connected" social media buddies. I'm just getting started with @Twitter and @Foursquare.
