Joel Adams

Joel Adams is an entrepreneur and consultant who loves to start companies and help other early stage growth companies. He is always looking for new opportunities and short or long term engagements. He primarily works with technology companies but will use his expertise in sales and management in a variety of industries. Joel started his career in software development and software project management. In 1982 he founded Devon Consulting, an IT staffing company based in Philadelphia, PA. By 1999, he had built Devon into the largest IT staffing company in the Philadelphia area with over thirty million dollars in annual sales. Devon Consulting was named as one of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania. Joel sold Devon in 2010. In 1992, Joel co-founded Assigned Counsel, a temporary attorney firm. Based in Philadelphia, Assigned Counsel today supplies temporary attorneys in five US markets. Joel has helped several start-up companies and is currently: 1) pioneering sales to refineries and chemical companies for a software company (Near Miss Management); 2) representing a top notch Ukraine IT developer (Team International) to US customers; 3) launching a new web application for the IT staffing industry,
