Starting out as IT Coordinator, Joel Diaz, started with RE/MAX real estate in the winter of 2005.
In that position, Joel, mixed a phenomenal blend of technical, creative, and analytical abilities.
Although his primary duties were to service the office network, computers, and other office
hardware, he was also responsible for maintaining and designing the company/agent web sites,
company Intranet, and phone system.
To complement his creative abilities, Joel assisted in creating RE/MAX real estate's Marketing
Department, which is broken down to Advertising, Print, Virtual, Online, and Brans Awareness.
He’s been certified by REMAX real estate as a technological trainer and routinely provides one
on one and group instruction on various subjects to improve our methods of business conduct.
Joel also compiles market research on a monthly basis to gain greater insight on current market
conditions. This information is distributed to our agents and clients to help them make informed,
intelligent, and most importantly timely decisions.
In 2010, when RE/MAX real estate and RE/MAX 100 merged, Joel took the position of Director
of Operations. In that position, Joel oversees all daily operations of our offices, including having
oversight of the Marketing Department, Advertising Department, Brand Awareness, Call Center
Department, and he works closely with the Bookkeeping Department. He also continues to
provide training for agents in group settings and one-on-one.
Joel also sits on several LVAR Board committees, in 2011, he was invited to sit on the MLS
Committee and in 2012 on the Diversity Task Force. In an effort to take RE/MAX real estate
paperless, Joel implemented Dotloop in the spring of 2013. In July 2014, Joel completed his
certification and is now Dotloop Certified.
