Joel Rodriguez

My name is Joel Rodriguez. I was born in Puerto Rico long time ago and, after living in five different states, I finally ended up residing in North Carolina.

I joined the Army on 1996 as Chaplain Assistant. I supported the Chaplaincy Corps in Louisiana, South Korea, and Virginia. After seven years in the Army, I separated and went back home in Puerto Rico. A year past and decided to wear the military uniform again, but this time in the Air Force.

I joined the Air Force on 2004 as F15 Fighter Aircraft Maintainer. I supported this airframe in North Carolina, South Korea (again), and Florida. On 2008, I decided to join the civilian ranks and accepted a position as Instructional Designer/Specialist. After almost 14 years of active duty military experience, I decided to join the Air Force Reserves in order to finalize my military career in the near future.

I have over 15 years experience in coaching, mentoring, education, training, and employee development. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education, M.S.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction, and Ed.D. in Training & Development Leadership. In addition, I have four different certifications and currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Educational Media Design & Technology. As you can see, I believe I'm a lifelong learner... Always ready to learn new things in life! My goal is to hare my excitement with you!
