Joel Gamble
Joel Gamble is from the Minneapolis/St. Paul. Joel had lessons on piano and violin as a child, studied the first two years of a music degree, and has an associate's degree in Computer Science. Joel can be seen and heard playing with 3 Miles High on weekends, with 2 Miles High (Dana and Joel) during the week, playing the pipe organ at Redemption Lutheran in Alderwood Manor on Sunday mornings, and playing violin and keyboards for events such as weddings and funerals. Over the years, Joel has had the pleasure of playing with a wide range of musicians either as a keyboard player or violinist, and sometimes both. With his masterful keyboard skills, and trademark style of violin performance, Joel has had the opportunity to share the stage with rock music legends. It is an honor to have played with music greats such as Roger Fisher (Heart), Alan White (Yes), Charlie Marinkovich (Iron Butterfly), Mike Derosier (Heart), and many more wonderful famous and little-known artists. Joel is classically trained in music theory and composition and still known among his fellow musicians for his abilty to improvise on the spot. His audience loves his entertaining and engaging stage presence. Joel is available for work in the recording studio, and live performance. He often plays solo engagements such as weddings and funerals. 3 Miles High is looking to book shows also. Joel is grateful to those who continue to support and inspire his music.
