Joel is a husband, father, son, and brother.
He is on the pastoral team of FBC Alexandria, a historic church and vibrant congregation in Northern Virginia. There, Joel leads discipleship efforts among single adults and emerging adults - the Millennial Generation.
He is pursuing a Doctorate in Christian Education and Discipleship from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. His research is focused on spiritual formation in emerging adults.
He is also a musician and passionate about leading corporate worship.
