Joelle Kilcourse
I am currently a teacher with nearly a decade of experience working with students in a traditional high school setting as well as an alternative evening diploma program. I have been a member of the Woodland Regional High School faculty since 2004 and I was recently named Region 16's Teacher of the Year for the 2014-2015 school year.
I enjoy motivating and inspiring students of all abilities and I believe reading and literacy provide the pathway to success in the classroom as well as in the working world. A passionate life-long reader, I am also a certified Library-Media Specialist and I am hoping to transition into a role as a Teacher-Librarian.
Beyond the walls of my classroom I continue my mission of fostering a love of reading by facilitating Region 16's One Region, One Book K-12 district-wide reading program and advising Woodland's Book Club.
