Hello! I'm Joelle and this January I am embarking on an exciting six month fellowship in Bangalore, India. I will be learning about social intrapreneurship and working with a social startup that offers after school academic programming to low income students throughout the city. In 2014 I graduated from UMD with an anthropology degree and a minor in religious studies. I knew only that I wanted to travel the world and, if possible, make an impact. Now, I think I'm on that path!

Some fun facts about me - I'm an animal lover, vegetarian, musical theater nerd, book worm, hopeless optimist, and amateur photographer. I always have the travel bug. I love meeting people and sharing stories. A few items on my bucket list are SCUBA diving, backpacking Europe, and taking a cross country road trip.
