Hi, my name is Joe Messerli. I’m an instructor, writer, and tech professional from Green Bay, WI.

As an insomniac who gets bored easily, my interests are numerous. They include biking, running, reading, fantasy football, movies, and almost any kind of sports. Some of my passions are history, politics, and current events. These passions motivated me shortly after 9/11 to create a website called https://www.balancedpolitics.org/, which focused on covering the pros and cons of various issues as neutrally as possible. It accumulated over 10 million hits by 2012 when I regrettably sold the site. The new owners have kept all the original material but have loaded it up with annoying advertising.

Other past projects include a website called https://politicallyincorrecthumor.com (which I’ve also sold) and the fiction novel, The Vigilante Terrorists.

I’ve semi-retired from The I.T. field after 25+ years of work, mostly in database administration and programming. I‘ve now shifted to teaching and a new education website https://educationdojo.com.

I currently reside in Wisconsin with my wonderful wife, Doreen, and a pack of rescue dogs & cats.
