Joe Metallo

Joseph Metallo combines years of experience working with Chicago area law enforcement, knowledge of private security and competitive intelligence firms, and a notable educational background. Performing his undergraduate studies at Loyola University Chicago starting in 1996, Joseph Metallo graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2000. While earning his degree, Joseph Metallo studied abroad. In 1997, he attended the John Felice Rome Center of Loyola University Chicago in Rome, Italy. Also that year, he attended the Universidad de La Rioja in Spain where he studied Spanish language and culture. Joseph Metallo speaks Italian, Spanish, and English.

After graduating, Joseph Metallo moved on to an honored career as a law enforcement official, working undercover and as a Special Agent from 2000 until 2007. During this time, he additionally received a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. In 2007, Joseph Metallo returned to Italy to study International Business at the Universita degli Studi della Calabria.

Returning to the United States, Joseph Metallo complemented his career at competitive intelligence firm Epoch Insights with a teaching career at Boston University. Joseph Metallo performed as a Facilitator with the school’s criminal justice program, teaching students about white-collar crimes, victimology, and juvenile crimes. Today, Joseph Metallo works in Rome, Italy, for competitive intelligence and private security company Proactive Worldwide as its Managing Director in Europe.
