Joe Ottey is a business man turned public servant. After graduating from Frostburg State University with a bachelors of science in business administration management, Joe worked in sales, logistics and research fields gaining experience and knowledge of private sector operations. Successfully navigating these fields J.D. Ottey turned his attention to service and the community. A career dedicated to helping others was essential to his values and ethics. In October of 2010, the decision to pursue a career as a Firefighter began and today he currently serves vigilantly the citizens of Prince George's county, MD. In addition to diligently training and studying the craft of firefighting and first response, Joe focuses on wilderness survival, sailing technique both fresh and blue water travels. Still early in Josephs career there remains plenty of opportunity for growth and experience which he seeks daily.
