Joerg Krebs

I am the only one of the few German patent attorneys holding a university degree in computational biology (bioinformatics). Bioinformatics is is an interdisciplinary field of computer science and biology that develop and improve on methods for storing, retrieving, organizing and analyzing biological data. Additionally, as a chemical technical assistant I have knowledge of chemistry as well. This rare combination of skills makes me an expert for all questions concerning the patentability of inventions for software, hardware and computer science in general, and especially in combination with biology and chemistry. Apart from this specialization, I work on cases relating to mobile radio technology/telecommunications, engineering, electrical and mechanical engineering.
