Joe Romagnolo
Joe Romagnolo is a seasoned communications expert with more than 15 years experience managing a wide range of initiatives for some of Canada's most influential companies and organizations. Joe founded, owned and managed Pilot PMR for eight years, a Toronto-based public relations agency that represents many of Canada’s leading consumer brands, before selling his interest in 2010. Original and intuitive initiatives spearheaded by Joe include brand re-positioning, content development, and consumer-facing product promotions. A former journalist, Joe’s writing ranges from senior executive presentations and corporate key messages through to web content and ad copy. Joe's media relations and product publicity experience range from the Food Network’s launch of Glutton for Punishment with Bob Blumer to Molson’s cold-activated technology with Coors Light. His strength in the consumer digital media environment is reinforced by his work with Callaway Golf, Burger King, Sharp Electronics, Bauer Hockey, Air Miles, Electrolux, NHL Players’ Association, and Clover Leaf. Joe's relationship with the media runs deep – he has managed large-scale media centres with more than 200 accredited media from around the world, he was a daily newspaper writer, and editor of Golf Canada Magazine. In his personal time, Joe enjoys urban photography, rock guitar, and one-pot cooking.
