Afolarin Joseph Akinlabi is a multimedia designer and media director with a keen sense of creativity and interesting weirdness.

With seasoned skills in graphics design, photography, and motion graphics, he's built through his over a decade timeline in the creative industry, a portfolio that ranges from editorials and brand identities to product packages and more. His motion graphics projects span from the animation of company logos to promo & trailer videos for events, books, and mobile apps.

He's been privileged to work with local and international brands like Wellness Together Canada (WTC), Samsung NG, NiPHEC, Ubenwa, Curacel, etc, as well as renowned individuals and leaders in various industries.

In 2017, He travelled alongside prominent creatives in the country on a partnership tour between Nigeria Photography Expo & Conference (NiPHEC) and Canon Inc. to Benin, Akure, and Oyo teaching photography. Last year, he volunteered at two different skill acquisition programs for youth and young adults as a Graphic Design facilitator.

Afolarin believes that "common is cheap". Thus, he's always innovating and re-inventing himself to ensure he keeps bringing something positively different to the creative industry.

With his church family as his most treasured community and Massimo Vignelli as his hero (he believes it's fate that they share the same birth month), he has grown a large heart and mindset that sees the fundamental link between all things creative.

When he's not pushing pixels or keyframes, you can usually find him drawing inspiration from timeless German design, minimalist styles, Efo Riro (traditional vegetable soup), and a good grilled chicken.
