Joe Hollingsworth
Born in phila. a long, long time ago. Retired now but worked since I was 10, started serving newspapers at the womans hospital of phila while in grammer school(St Agatha's) and into High School (ST Thomas More) until Senior year, went to work for a year and then entered the US Air Force, in 1959, went to Lackland AFB for basic trng and stayed there for AP school, went to Cheyenne Wyo, then to Germany, where I met my wife, left Germany for Vandenberg AFB in california where our Son was born, left the Air Force in '64 and moved back to Phila, got a job with trailways bus co until I was hired by the US Postal Service, during this time our Daughter was born, I spent 27 years with the PO,retired from there and went to work for the Phila. school dist as a per diem NTA for two years and switched to school police and spent 11 years @ Edison High School. Retired from the school dist in march of 2008 and currently doing NOTHING. My wife and I have two children, six grandchildren and one great grandson. We keep bus going to the doctors and more doctors, oh, those golden years.......where are they...turning to rusty years for the both of us. I wish we could just go to jiffy lube and get our joints oiled every now and then and an oil change...wouldn't that be nice, yeah, right!! Stay young my friends as long as you can.
