Joe Davis

After 3 years of MDiv coursework at Palmer Theological Seminary, I've now begun the second half of my dual masters degree program: International Development at Eastern University. I'm a husband, a dad, and a former smartphone app developer who has heard the good news of the God-who-is-Love - the One who has come and is coming to reign over a kin-dom of peace, justice, and goodness for all people, places, and created things. With a heart set on fire by the all-consuming, life-giving, creation-renewing Holy Spirit of God, I am humbled to be called an active witness in this ever-unfolding story of grace and steadfast love.

I am an aspiring Christian community developer-theologian-pastor, a lazy writer, an amateur gardener, perennial front runner for dad-of-the-year and an out of shape ultimate frisbee player who is excited to be joining God's work of salvation in/with/for Alabama's rural communities as the Director of Ministry Operations at Alabama Rural Ministry.
