Joe Woodruff is an innovative theologian who respects the traditional presentations of religion yet unapologetically promotes his interpretations of Christianity with panache. In his view, “Jesus has been grossly misrepresented” in ways that have “soured people on God and His love for them.” Pastor Joe sets out to change these perceptions by “helping people see Jesus for who He is” and with “knowing that He loves them as they are.”
In his role as Lead Pastor of New Vision Fellowship in Beaverton, Oregon, Woodruff employs a different approach, setting himself apart from those who espouse uncompassionate religious rhetoric. Using his uncanny wit and creativity, Pastor Joe breaks from tradition to revitalize people’s beliefs in what faith in God can do for them and His power to exact the positive changes they seek in their lives.
Pastor Joe encourages people to implement life-changes through the spiritual self-discovery programs he’s developed, many of which are available on the Internet. He is the founder of several websites and is the developer of I'm On Your Side...Scoot Over, a unique book, video and conference resource that “helps any marriage experience more of what they desire.”
Joe Woodruff is driven to inspire, coach, and help people better themselves and to help bring joy into their lives. He accomplishes this through public speaking, writing, and his personal coaching practice.
Joe began his inspirational public speaking career at age sixteen. In addition to his ministry in churches, he has worked with several businesses and non-profit organizations, including vocational training for persons with developmental disabilities.
Joe has witnessed first-hand the positive change Jesus makes in people's. Captivated by the power of word and story as a child, Joe later realized his own gifts with word and decided to commit his life to helping people through speaking, writing and personal coaching.
