Joey Horn is a business administration professional with a background in both for-profit companies and corporate boards and in the non-profit sector. Currently, Joey is based in Oslo where she is the managing director at Oaks Management.

Although she began her academic career studying biology at Williams College, Joey was drawn to the business world and went on to get her MBA at Yale in 1991. Since then, she’s focused her career around business administration. Professionally, Joey has held many high-level management and board positions at important companies around the world. Some of the companies Joey has worked for include Saks Fifth Avenue, Credit Suisse First Boston, Greylock Management AS, Norse Energy Corp. ASA, and Asia Offshore Drilling Limited.

In addition to holding such positions, Joey has always found time to give back. Joey has served as a volunteer and also made financial contributions to many organisations, especially those related to education. Over the years, Joey has supported her alma mater Williams College in many ways, particularly through her service as a trustee from 2009-2017. She has also been involved with many other academic institutions such as Oslo International School and Choate Rosemary Hall, among others, and supports organisations such as Mothers2Mothers and Right to Play.

Joey is well travelled and has lived in several countries with her Norwegian husband. The couple have three children together. Because of her background and world travels, Joey has achieved fluency in four languages: French, English, Hindi and Norwegian. She also speaks conversational Spanish. In her free time, Joey enjoys hiking, playing golf and tennis, and collecting contemporary art.
