Joey Hudson
Joey Hudson is a lifelong resident of Greenville and owner of a local insurance agency. Joey is presently on the Board of Directors of both the Greenville and Southeastern Crime Stoppers programs and has served as President of both groups. Other local nonprofit work has included the Upstate Homeless Coalition; Greenville County School District’s mentoring program and various ministries of Christ Episcopal Church where he attends and is a lay minister. A graduate of Winthrop University, with a degree in Political Science, Joey’s interest in political issues and his long-standing friendship with National Radio Talk Host – Mike Gallagher – led to his work with the syndicated radio show and his position as Executive Director of the Gallagher’s Army:Fallen Officer Fund. This national nonprofit focuses on serving the families of law enforcement officers who are killed in the line of duty. Joey and his wife (Peg) live just outside of Greer on their small farm with Black Jack and Cocoa…their two cocker spaniels.
