Joey Legodi is an Entrepreneur, an award winning Current Affairs and Talk show producer. She is also a mommy blogger and Podcaster based in Gauteng, South Africa.

She is an avid advocate of entrepreneurship, gender equality and Mental Health. She has a Mental Health Movement called #GetFitAgainstDepression aimed at raising awareness on Mental Illnesses, encouraging Mental Health with the aim of starting the conversation around #MentalWellness and ending stigma.

Joey is passionate about telling stories. Apart from being an entrepreneur, she currently works as a Talk show radio producer for SAfm Radio, producing the afternoon show called Living Redefined , broadcast Mondays through Fridays between 1pm and 3pm, as well as the weekly religious show, Facts of Faith show, hosted by Naye Lupondwana, broadcast Sundays from 7pm – 9pm.

Her duties with the shows include directing, coordinating and managing a live radio broadcast, executing the social media presence for the show, researching and Tracking breaking news and stories, thereafter developing them on air for broadcast and identifying, securing and briefing expert guests for live and pre-recorded interviews amongst other duties.

She is also a former presenter and producer of the Sunday Cruise show, on community Radio Station Cosmo fm, and well as former presenter of the station's talk show, for which she was nominated for best presenter.

Reflecting on her work in broadcasting, she says "My field of work and experience has taught me to prepare for the worst and stay cool under fire while my passion for radio pushes me more to go beyond what is expected"
