“Change is constant, and so is learning.” This phrase inspires me to strive for excellence in my musical journey.
Hey there! I'm Joey, a passionate performer and a storyteller with a love for music and theater.
I am currently a Music Theatre Major at the UST Conservatory of Music under the tutelage of Dr. Ronan Ferrer. My musical journey began in high school when I discovered my passion for singing and joined the choir. This led me to Imusicapella, a church choir in my hometown of Imus, Cavite, where I became a dedicated member and got the opportunity to proudly represent the Philippines across Asia and Europe through concerts and competitions from 2016 to 2019. These experiences broadened my musical horizons and gave me a global perspective.
In 2020, I began my journey at the University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music. Since then, I've been involved in various productions, both on stage and behind the scenes.
I have a range of skills, from performing arts to stage management, leadership, and communication. Whether I'm singing, organizing logistics, or leading a team, I always bring creativity and precision.
I'm always eager to learn and grow. Attending workshops and volunteering in local productions have helped me develop both personally and professionally.
Aside from performing, I enjoy teaching voice to kids and sharing my passion for music with the next generation, hoping that it will inspire them to develop a love for music as well.
I'm committed to pursuing my passion for music and making a positive impact. With my diverse experiences and versatile skills, I'm excited to continue my journey in the world of performance.
