Joey Metler

Joey Metler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Chicago. He has worked at several well known community based non-profits including Howard Brown Health Center, TPAN (Test Positive Aware Network), and Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare.

Joey has worked primarily within the LGBTQ community and at risk populations (including street based persons and sex workers).

Joey's clinical focus is the holistic treatment of an individual taking into account one's mental, physical, and sexual health.

Certifications and training include: HIV/AIDS Instructor; HIV Partner Services; HIV testing/counseling; VIBES (Very Informed Brothers Engaged for Survival); Safety Counts; Couples HIV Testing and Counseling; ARTAS (Anti-Retrovial Treatment and Access to Services); and Medical Case Management.
