I've been involved in science fiction fandom and Tolkien fandom since 1981. I've run a few conventions and attended many more. Professionally, I've worked as a games editor, translator, technical writer and editor. Since 1999, I do technical writing, editing, and localization coordination for IAR Systems AB, an Uppsala-based company that develops programming tools for the embedded computer systems market.

I grew up in Strängnäs, an hour west of Stockholm, but I've lived in the Uppsala area since 1983. I'm married to Linnéa, who teaches English at the University of Uppsala.
