Johanna Altman

Hello Readers! I am Johanna Altman, the founder of Grid Properties and Icon Escrow in Los Angeles, California. Growing up in my family's real estate business, which encompassed real estate, lending, and escrow services, I developed a strong industry acumen from an early age.

Raised in Southern California, I learned best practices in real estate, lending, and escrow by supporting my parents' small business. I graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Minor in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business. My career began as a financial consultant at AXA Advisors, where I established a strong foundation in the financial sector. Eventually, I decided to return to my professional roots and obtained my Real Estate Broker’s license.

I nurture and challenge my team to succeed and grow. As a client-focused business owner, I built my companies to provide a seamless process, believing in efficient, clear communication to reduce the stress that can accompany the real estate process. I know that by providing a great client experience and strong team support, success will follow.

I am married to LA luxury real estate broker Matt Altman, and together we have three beautiful children.
