Johanna McCormick

Johanna McCormick is a detail oriented executive with ten years extensive experience providing direct services as a social worker. Johanna received her AA Degree in Liberal Arts in 1992 and her BA Degree in Sociology in 1995 (graduating with highest honors) from Chicago State University. Mrs. McCormick has worked in the areas of youth mentorship, child welfare, medical social work as well as with individial's with developmental disabilities. Mrs. McCormick truly understands the concept of "people helping people". Johanna had the vision for the Phenomenal Women Non for Profit Organizatin in June 2012. She presented the idea to family and friends and organized a group of women. Phenomenal Women NFP was incorported in September 2012 and became a legal 501(c)(3) in October 2012. Phenomenal Women NFP has sponsored many charitable drives and event since it's inception. The organization continues striving to establish and devise an ongoing funding base to continue it's programs and services. The aim of the organization is community outreach and social reform. It strives to address issues of poverty, hunger, homelessness, health & wellness and other social ills. Phenomenal Women NFP believes women play a vital role in reshaping our homes, communities and society and strives to bring feminine based decision making to the forefront.
