Johanna Salazar is currently the Head of Production Management at Viacom Media Networks, where she oversees the Production, Programming and New Technology department for the Content Production Group (CPG). CPG produces ancillary content for CMT, LOGO, MTV and VH1.
Johanna has been coordinating and producing content, media and production events for over 10 years with budgets totaling up to $8 million dollars and drafting up to $18 million budgets.
In 2012, Johanna helped launch a new premium youtube channel under the Google/Youtube initiative. As the Channel Head, she was in charge of the production and programming of the youtube channel. They were a small team of passionate visionaries looking to produce premium content for the online market.
In 2008, Johanna launched her own media company out Miami, Florida, called Aceneth LLC. Aceneth was the name of her grandmother, she taught her how to lead with Gratitude. Through Aceneth, Johanna aims to improve and contribute to the education system in the US and around the world. Johanna's passion, determination and professional experience have been her driving force propelling her to voice a message of hope, knowledge, and independent critical thinking.
Johanna has worked with the Production Management Departments of several channels within the VIACOM Family, but the bulk of her career evolved at MTV Networks. During her six years at MTV, she coordinated and oversaw over 100 shows. She was also an instrumental part of the launch of MTV Tr3s, in 2006, where she helped launch the production management department, established a large team, helped increase sales, target programming, and always saved time and money while increasing productivity. As the Head of Production Management, Johanna oversaw the entire production budget, and coordinated all efforts cross-functionally, across marketing, ad sales, integrated marketing, programming, international, on-air talent, and all the multi-platforms (online, video on demand, on-air promos, etc.).
