After years of education, I am about to finish my graduate studies and become a Naturopathic Doctor through the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

My pursuit to become an Integrated Health Physician came out of multiple experiences. I had left my hometown of New Westminster, BC to study Biology and Art at a small, rural college 3000 miles away. There I witnessed healthcare through multiple lenses: through my volunteer work on the local ambulance, through my travels to Ecuador to participate in public health programs, and also through my work in Buffalo, NY helping refugees access proper health care.

When I left my East Coast adventures, it was only to end up right where I started from - good ol' BC. I believe there is a reason for everything, so despite my attempts to "make a difference in the world", I came to realize that the difference starts in my own backyard.

My desire is to be an educator and an encourager – to be a resource of empowerment for individuals and families who want good lives spent in good health. How we care for our bodies can shape our whole approach to the world around us. The choices we make for our health are an opportunity to promote well-being – for ourselves, our families, and even our communities.
