I have always had a fascination for the outdoors and wildlife, and so I studied biology at Universities in South Africa and in Denmark. Somehow, I finally emerged from Wits University in Joburg with a PhD certificate. I then set out to seek gainful employment and I ended up with two multinational chemical companies as a Marketing and Exports Manager, promoting and selling the control of insects on crops and malaria mosquitoes in Africa. After a while my entrepreneurial spirit started bubbling over, and so I left corporate life to find something else more satisfying to do. I ended up fulfilling my passion for wildlife and the outdoors - by combining this with computers and purchasing the rights to run the My Destination Johannesburg on-line Travel Guide rights for Gauteng, Mpumalanga, North West and Limpopo. And now I am enjoying myself!
