John Brisbin

John Brisbin is the Managing Director of BoaB interactive, based in at the northern edge of the Atherton Tablelands, at the head of the Mitchell River Catchment, in lovely Far North Queensland. (Australia).

His background is in complex information system solution, having worked with many state and commonwealth agencies in Australia since arriving here in 1995. He surfed through the first internet revolution as part of the Social Change Online team led by Rob Atkinson and Sean Kidney. Since then John continued his interests in complexity theory and social change dynamics. He earned a Masters in Social Ecology for his research into local food systems and an entropy-grounded theory of ethics.

In 2007 John joined BoaB interactive. BoaB are innovative and committed providers knowledge network solutions to the scientific, natural resource management, and sustainability sectors in Australia. In 2008 John acquired the company and has continued to serve a select group of clients.
