John is an academic technology strategist whose interests are using technology to transparently enhance the learning experience of students.

As Director for Online and Information Technology at Penn State's Abington Campus, John is working at the forefront of the change that is occurring in the way undergraduate education is being delivered. Calling on his extensive background in technology in education - from Yale, Stanford, Duke and Penn State Universities - as both a visionary and implementer of new ways to engage students, John works most effectively as a consultant in what he terms "Really Big Projects" that fundamentally affect and effect change within the educational mission.
